DESIGN YOUR HOME | MONDO BUILDERS

Mondo Builders is passionate about building and guiding our clients through the building process.  We will be there from lot selection & home design through construction, moving day & beyond.  Every detail matters and our goal is to help you pursue your vision. 

Step 1 – Lot Selection
Mondo Builders will walk the lot with you and point out the pros and possible cons.  We will research the flood map and utilities to the lot to make sure there aren’t any unforeseen issues when designing or building.  We will encourage soil testing to identify soil conditions. We will discuss codes and setbacks in order to get an idea of how the home will be generally situated on the lot.

Step 2 – Plan Design
Mondo Builders has relationships with several architects and has special pricing available. We will review your plans for cost effectiveness as well as maximizing your living space. 

Step 3 – Budgeting
Mondo Builders will bid out the project completely before construction begins and determine your budget and timeline. Value is important to every client building a new home.  We will aggressively bid each phase of your project to ensure the highest quality construction for the best price.     

Step 4 – Building Permit
Mondo Builders will submit the application for the building permit and get the approval to begin building.  Mondo Builders handles all the details in getting prepared to apply for the permit as well as getting approved for a building permit.

Step 5 – Building Your Home 
Mondo Builders will be on site and keeping a watchful eye on construction.  We will also be guiding you through your selection process while sticking to a timeline & budget.  We will compare possible selections as well as provide you with cost analysis and budget snap shots.  We will provide each subcontractor with a scope of work which will outline every detail of their job.  We demand and verify that every subcontractor has proper licensing, bonding & insurance.  We will handle lien waivers and payouts if you so desire.  We will walk the house throughout the process and make changes if need be.  We will be at every municipal inspection.  We will make sure that every detail is done with quality & craftsmanship. 

Step 6 – Occupancy Permit
Mondo Builders will make sure that every detail and inspection required by the municipality has been met and passed and that unconditional occupancy has been issued.  

Step 7 – 1 Year Warranty   
Mondo Builders will assess any issues and coordinate any repairs with sub contractors for 1 year after construction. We will also do a walk thru 30 days after you move in to go over every detail of the home, answer questions and make any necessary repairs.      

Financing your project can be done when you purchase the lot or when you are ready to break ground on a lot that you may already own.  Mondo Builders has relationships with banks that specialize in land loans, construction loans and combination loans.  We can be a resource and give you several options to entertain.
